As you might already know, I am a college student in my really early 20s. You are probably wondering why I am reviewing a face brush when I usually do reviews about skin-care products. Well, I have been lusting for the Clarisonic for a long time now. Buying a facial brush [it seems to be a giant electric toothbrush for your skin] for $200 is way out of my “budget” for skincare. Why is this $13 facial brush [also known as "MenScience Face Buff Brush"] seems to be an important tool for everyday facial cleaning? Getting this brush was an small investment to my everyday skin care routine. I always wanted to begin my preventative everyday care in order to keep my oil production at the minimal. Like many people, I also have blackheads on my nose and sometime on my chin. Also, buying a $13 brush is a steal. The company claims that the use of “Face Buff Brush” can be loosening impurities from the skin and deep within pores. A soft-bristle brush that provides thorough cleansing and gently wash away dead skin cells. The overall appearance of your skin will look more radiance and keep your oil production at a minimal.

Size: The MenScience Face Buff Brush is about half the size the Clarisonic with manual “labor” power. With the manual power, you are in control how hard you want the brush comes in contact with your skin. It is easier to hold, lightweight, and it does fit nicely everywhere. You can bring this in your gym bag without worrying that someone might be stealing it. The brush head is much smaller compare to the Clarisonic. My feeling for this facial brush is like getting a Swedish message every time I wash my face.

Cleansers: You can use your favorite cleanser with this face brush. Currently, I am using the Aveeno Active Naturals Positively Radiant Cleanser [Review is coming soon]. I really like the way my skin felt after using the face buff brush everyday. The feeling of clean on my skin gives me a boost of confidence about my youthful appearance.

How To Use It:

~Wet face and brush with lukewarm water. Don’t use hot water because it could lead to uncomfortable dryness on your skin.

~Add a small amount [approximately one teaspoon] of your favorite cleanser on the brush.

~Gently massage with circular motions into the skin. Remember to do this at least one minute. Rinse your face and brush well. Dry brush in a ventilated area.

Below is a video testimonial for the Menscience Face Buff Brush. As a reminder, this person does not have any association to this website.

Tips:

The more often you use this brush, the less chances you will experience painful ingrown hairs as well as the razor burned. It can also prepare the skin for shaving, opens follicles, and firms stubble. The Bottom Line: I know the Menscience Facial Buff Brush is a steal for everyone. If you are on the fence about buying this facial brush, I say “GO FOR IT!.” Personally, I am glad to have MenScience Face Buff Brush and use it everyday. This is definitely worth the investment!
